OET(Occupational English Test)

The Occupational English Test (also known as OET) is an international English language test for the healthcare sector. It assess the proficiency language in communication skills of healthcare professionals who wish to register and practice in an English-speaking environment.

OET is available for the following 12 professions: dentistry, dietetics, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, podiatry, radiography, speech pathology, and veterinary science

OET is a well-respected international English language test for the healthcare sector. Established in the late 1980s under contract to the Australian Federal Government, OET continues to remain relevant through continuous research and validation.

OET covers all four language skills with an emphasis on communication in a healthcare environment.

"The perfect place to end your quest for English" IONA was a great way to prepare for my IELTS test. I had problems with the Reading part. I found the hints offered by the IELTS teachers very helpful and practical. One such piece of advice was about the Reading section. It was advised that trying to read the whole passage can take time. Instead, one should learn how to skim a passage very quickly to learn what the passage is about. Following this tip, I was able to complete the Reading section on time and check my answers.
