PROMETRIC (SAUDI, OMAN, QATAR)

Prometric is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Educational Testing Service (ETS) and a trusted provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment solutions. It is a testing and assessment provider that operates test centers in more than 160 countries.
For Foregin nurses those who are interested to work in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar are required to qualified the Prometric Examination.
In the Oman  Prometric and Saudi, Qatar Exam for Nurses, examinees are given two and half hours to finish 70 and 100 questions in multiple-choice format. It is a computer-based test and the result of the examination is available immediately after the exam.

Where as he exam for Nurse Specialist is composed of:
Assessment – 10%
Nursing Problem – 6%
Planning – 20%
Implementation – 50%
Evaluation – 14%

Passing Score for Oman Prometric Exams 50%. (35/70 Questions, 2 Hours, it is valid only for 1 years)

Passing Score for Qatar Prometric Exams 50%. (50/100 Questions, 2 ½ hours, it is valid only for 3 years)

*(Now a day’s Private hospitals in Oman Demands 60% for Oman Prometric exam )


For appearing Saudi prometric examination, first you must have an eligibility no:, and you can schedule yuour exam with in 5 working days after activation of your eligibility number.
`Saudi council issues eligibility no: for nurses in two categories.

  • Nurse Specialist: Pass Score For Specialist Exam 50%
    Bachleor of nursing degree with minimum three years of clinical experience.
  • Nurse Technician: Pass Score For Technician Exam 45%
    Diploma in nursing or degree with minimum One year of experience.

* Now a days Nurse Technician Exam was conducted by Pearson Vue

The health care professional has only three attempts to pass the Licensing exam. In the Situation when not pass the Licensing Examination from the first and second attempts, he / she can apply for the paid Eligibility Number reactivation through e-services to obtain an exceptional third attempt to pass the exam.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR SCFHS ELIGIBILITY NO: FOR PROMETRIC EXAM

  1. Passport Size Photo
  2. Passport ( front & back page)
  3. GNM / B.Sc. Certificates (Diploma / Degree)
  4. Registration Certificate.
  5. Transcript
  6. Experience Certificates.

For Qatar / Oman Exam scheduling needed only Passport Copy and the exam fee.
